The fresh gray wall is visible between two towers. This could just be primer, and it may receive more layers of paint.<\/p>\n Cinderella Castle received the current pink, royal blue, and gray color scheme for the park\u2019s 50th anniversary in 2021. Disney\u00a0announced in summer 2025<\/a>\u00a0that the castle would be restored to its classic colors of gray of light blue. They later announced that\u00a0painting would begin<\/a>\u00a0in January 2026 and the Walt Disney World calendar indicated<\/a> it would begin on January 28.<\/p>\n Some fresh pink paint appeared on the castle<\/a> appeared on the castle last week as some kind of test. Painting is set to be complete by the end of the year. Due to the work, the park\u2019s opening castle show, Let the Magic Begin, has been modified. It stopped including fireworks<\/a> earlier this month and now no longer includes characters<\/a>.
