The 70-year-old actor\u2019s<\/a> family announced in 2023 that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD)<\/a>, only a year after they said he was \u201cstepping away\u201d from acting because he had aphasia<\/a>.<\/p>\n Since announcing her husband\u2019s diagnosis, Heming Willis has been open about his physical health and how it\u2019s affected their family, including their two daughters, Mabel Ray, 13, and Evelyn Penn, 11.<\/p>\n In an appearance on Wednesday\u2019s episode of Cameron Oaks Rogers\u2019s Conversations with Cam podcast, she explained that the Die Hard actor does not know about his condition.<\/p>\n \u201cI think that\u2019s like the blessing and the curse of this, is that he never connected the dots that he had this disease, and I\u2019m really happy about that. It’s just that their brain is changing. This is a part of the disease.\u201d<\/p>\n Her podcast appearance comes after she addressed criticism about moving Willis out of their family home<\/a> due to the degenerative nature of his condition.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cF*** em!
