After bouncing the ball several times and lofting it into the air, he is forced to catch it before it can connect with his racquet.<\/p>\n
The baby once again lets out a big wail, pulling focus away from the athlete.<\/p>\n
He looks to the crowd with an amused, but incredulous expression, which sparks laughter and applause among fans.<\/p>\n
Footage of the moment has now gained more than two million views, sparking debate around whether it\u2019s appropriate to have a baby or toddler tag along to a sport known for total crowd silence.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, some aimed at the players in general, questioning why elite professionals allow their focus to be shattered so easily.<\/p>\n

Children and babies are allowed to attend matches under the official rules of the Australian Open.<\/p>\n

In fact, there\u2019s no charge for children aged 2 and under if they do not occupy a seat, though proof of age is required to enter.<\/p>\n
\u201cOpen to everyone\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cChildren aged 2 and under on the date they are attending the AO (not the date of ticket purchase) may enter at no charge, provided they do not occupy a reserved seat,\u201d the official website states.<\/p>\n
Children\u2019s tickets are available for attendees between the ages of 3 and 11. There are also Youth Tickets available for teens between the ages of 12 and 17.<\/p>\n

Crowd etiquette dictates that fans remain silent during play and between first and second serves.<\/p>\n
Failure to comply with the etiquette can result in being removed for disruptive behavior.<\/p>\n
Tennis Australia told news.com.au that despite the strict rules around noise when spectating, even the youngest fans are welcome at the Open.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Australian Open is open to everyone, including babies and children,\u201d the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
