Tired of all this snow yet? Be glad you don\u2019t live in Cattaragus or Oswego (unless, of course, you do live there). <\/p>\n

Upstate New York weathered another significant snowfall this week, and Oswego was hit with 44.6 inches of snow since Sunday. The two worst days were Monday (12.4 inches) and Thursday (17.2 inches).<\/p>\n

Syracuse has accumulated 15.6 inches of snow this week.<\/p>\n

For the winter season of 2025-26, the village of Cattaraugus in southwestern New York tops the list with 162 inches of snow, which is more than 13 feet of snow. <\/p>\n

Mexico has seen 136.1 inches of snow, Syracuse has accumulated 113 inches, and Oswego stands at 102.9 inches for the season.<\/p>\n

For those following the race for the Golden Snowball, Syracuse has a sizeable lead over Rochester (80.7 inches this winter), Buffalo (70.9), Binghamton (50.1) and Albany (44.5).<\/p>\n

We should not see major snowfall for at least a few days. A strong storm forecast to move up the East Coast this weekend is expected to miss Upstate New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our region will experience dry but frigid conditions this weekend<\/a>. Temperatures are expected to drop below zero on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with daytime highs reaching only about 15 degrees.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Tired of all this snow yet?
