Medearis has informed LSU that the department is under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>No details of the investigation were reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Power 4 conferences put the CSC in place in 2025 to monitor player compensation in including Name, Image and Likeness deals as well as revenue sharing.<\/p>\n<p>The story indicated LSU is the first school to be investigated. Yahoo!\u2019s Ross Dellenger is reporting that \u201cseveral schools\u201d have received the notice.<\/p>\n<p>LSU has released a statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been in regular communication with the CSC since the organization\u2019s formation and appreciate their ongoing collaboration and guidance. We anticipate this specific\u00a0inquiry will be resolved shortly. We will not comment further on regulatory matters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>**Initially this story included details about Lane Kiffin\u2019s transfer portal class.
