One thing the Cincinnati Bengals need to do in this upcoming NFL Draft is build depth. That\u2019s where Day 3 of the Draft comes into play, and it\u2019s where the Bengals can build a stronger roster to get back to Super Bowl contention.<\/p>\n
A player to watch for in the very late rounds, who impressed at the East-West Shrine Bowl in Mobile, Alabama this week, is Navy defensive tackle Landon Robinson. Robinson is a beast, and he has the accolades to show for it. In 2025, the Fairlawn, Ohio, and Copley High School graduate was the American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-American.<\/p>\n
Robinson racked up 64 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks in 2025. While he is less than six feet tall and less than 300 pounds, Robinson has the explosiveness that could make him an intriguing late-round option or undrafted free agent.<\/p>\n
A key thing to note is that Robinson does not have an invite to the Combine. That could cause him to not be on some radars going into the NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
If teams need proof, though, of how good Robinson is in the middle of the field, look no further than the fact that he has been on The Athletic\u2019s Bruce Feldman\u2019s annual \u201cFreaks List\u201d going into each of the last three college football seasons.<\/p>\n

The Bengals need violence in the middle of their defensive line.
