NEW LENOX, Ill. (WLS) — Police are asking residents of south suburban New Lenox to stay indoors on Saturday morning as authorities search for a burglary suspect.<\/p>\n

The Will County Sheriff’s Office posted to Facebook just after 9 a.m., saying multiple police agencies are looking for the suspect, who “fled from another municipality.”<\/p>\n

Anyone who lives near Francis and Vine should stay inside, the sheriff’s office said.<\/p>\n

Where the burglary happened was not immediately clear, and a description of the suspect was not immediately provided to ABC7.<\/p>\n

Police did not immediately say when residents might be able to leave their homes again.<\/p>\n
