\u201cBlack-ish\u201d star Anthony Anderson and television host Rocsi Diaz are together and are out in the open with it. <\/p>\n
That\u2019s because Anderson recently confirmed the swirling dating rumors in a new interview. <\/p>\n
The big moment happened on Angie Martinez\u2019s \u201cIRL Podcast<\/a>,\u201d where Anderson opened up about his newfound relationship, Complex<\/a> reported. <\/p>\n \u201cIt was something that just happened. We just happened to be in the same place at the same time, at the right time\u2026in life,\u201d he shared. <\/p>\n This moment happens around the 40:45 minute mark of the video.<\/p>\n When Martinez asked if Anderson had admired Diaz from afar back when she co-hosted BET\u2019s \u201c106&Park\u201d years ago, the \u201cScary Movie 3\u201d star revealed that it was quite the opposite. <\/p>\n \u201cI watched \u2018106 & Park\u2019 like, \u2018Oh, she a cutie,\u2019 but never was like, \u2018I got to get with that,” he explained. \u201cWe laughed about that. It\u2019s like, \u2018No, it was never that for me.\u2019 And we\u2019ve known each other\u2026almost 20 years.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Anderson, the two are \u201cin the same friend circle,\u201d as he also mentioned that it\u2019s the right time for the pair. <\/p>\n \u201cThis happened, and I welcome it,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd the difference now is I\u2019m learning, or I\u2019ve learned to prioritize a better balance in life, in my personal life, and not be just strictly about work and about what the next project is going to be.\u201d<\/p>\n When Martinez suggested that Diaz experiences an \u201cevolved\u201d version of the actor, Anderson doubled down and shared that he also experiences an \u201cevolved\u201d version of himself. <\/p>\n \u201cAt one point not too long ago, I sat back and thought about the relationship that I would like to have at this point in my life, and I realized that I was never going to have that if I was to continue doing what I was doing,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n \u201cIf this is what you want, these are the changes that you have to make. And uh, I made those changes. I believe you receive what you\u2019re asking for. And I asked for this relationship with whomever it was going to be with, and once I cleared a path and a way for that to happen and to come in my life, it happened.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd this is where I am right now,\u201d he concluded. \u201cIt\u2019s a beautiful thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Rumors about the two began to ran rampant when the new couple were seen together during the Golden Globes weekend holding hands. Then, just last week, Anderson confirmed to People that he was \u201cno longer a bachelor,\u201d but continued to conceal the identity of his new girlfriend. <\/p>\n Anderson finalized his divorce from ex-wife Alvina Stewart about two years ago.
