Welcome back to Ballhalla.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Louder is right \u2014 entering their second season as a WNBA team, things can only go up from here for the Golden state Valkyries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">In their inaugural season, the Valkyries made the playoffs, finishing as the 8th seed in the WNBA. They also had multiple members of the organization win awards, including head coach Natalie Nakase winning the WNBA Coach of the Year award.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">As the league expands, the Valkyries will have more competition to beat to make the playoffs for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The Valkyries will be facing off against fellow recent expansion teams throughout the season. They will be facing the Portland Fire at home on June 2nd and September 18th, and in Portland on August 30th and September 22nd.
