What sets her apart, according to patients, is her willingness to take on tricky cases like Aguilar\u2019s. (The average price of an IVF cycle nationwide is around $20,000.) She regularly works with reality stars, professional athletes, and tech bigwigs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">Her services are particularly alluring in the Bay Area, which is home to the <a href=\"https:\/\/sfstandard.com\/2025\/05\/11\/bay-area-young-moms-feel-isolated\/\" data-post-id=\"bc4c71b3-d768-4128-be53-5bafeebaf5ab\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">oldest first-time mothers in the country<\/a>, thanks to a combination of factors that include lofty career ambitions, <a href=\"https:\/\/sfstandard.com\/2026\/01\/01\/women-electing-freeze-their-eggs-as-normal-part-life-planning\/\" data-post-id=\"d1cbd751-e90a-47a4-8d1b-67a79a772f97\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">companies that foot the bill for egg freezing<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/sfstandard.com\/2026\/01\/20\/thanks-mayor-lurie-my-baby-will-get-free-childcare-plan-comes-catch\/\" data-post-id=\"e191568c-df7e-4a1d-9973-a7e4d85e8c3e\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a sky-high cost of living<\/a> that incentivizes waiting to have kids. Eyvazzadeh\u2019s clients are, on average, 41 years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">In a region where untold resources are being harnessed to<a href=\"https:\/\/sfstandard.com\/2024\/11\/04\/new-tech-flex-longevity-concierge\/\" data-post-id=\"5fee25af-e32f-4d50-9448-6fcef0b4ab28\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/sfstandard.com\/2024\/11\/04\/new-tech-flex-longevity-concierge\/\" data-post-id=\"5fee25af-e32f-4d50-9448-6fcef0b4ab28\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">stave off basic biological realities<\/a> like death, it\u2019s little surprise that there are also people zealously looking to create life.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">It helps that Eyvazzadeh looks and acts the part of the baby-making wellness guru. She lifts weights, dances at EDM raves and music festivals, and balances a seemingly around-the-clock work schedule with four kids of her own.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">\u201cI don\u2019t know how she does it, really,\u201d Aguilar said.\u00a0\u201dLike, does she sleep?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">Aguilar, now in her mid-40s, credits Eyvazzadeh for her toddler son: \u201cIt\u2019s not a job for her. It\u2019s a calling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Giving people hope, without being a \u2018hope dealer\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">A plush uterus, thank-you cards, and dozens of eggs \u2014 glass, wood, and even Faberge \u2014 decorate Eyvazzadeh\u2019s office at her San Ramon clinic. They\u2019re all gifts from patients. \u201cEvery piece is a success story,\u201d she said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">The desk itself holds special meaning: It\u2019s the same one her father used during his career as an OB-GYN. She first <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Lifestyle\/meet-egg-whisperer-hosting-freezing-parties-silicon-valley\/story?id=26836980\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">gained national media attention (opens in new tab)<\/a> in the early 2010s, when she started throwing \u201cegg freezing parties\u201d to educate women about fertility screening and the freezing process over cocktails and canapes. Around the same time, she helped a 48-year-old get pregnant, and <a href=\"https:\/\/theivh.org\/blogs\/vaginal-health-insights\/q-a-with-fertility-expert-dr-aimee-eyvazzadeh-the-egg-whisperer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">the patient gifted (opens in new tab)<\/a> her the <a href=\"http:\/\/Eggwhisper.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Eggwhisperer.com (opens in new tab)<\/a> website domain \u2014 and, thus, an enduring nickname.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">In the years since, Eyvazzadeh has gained a following thanks to a bedside manner and approach that patients say is unlike anything they\u2019ve experienced with a doctor. \u201cYou feel like you\u2019re her only patient,\u201d as one put it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">For publicist Madison Ginnett, working with Eyvazzadeh to freeze her eggs contrasted dramatically with a demoralizing experience she had at a large fertility center in San Francisco.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">\u201cFrom the beginning, it was very impersonal: You were just a number,\u201d she said. The \u201cworld of conventional medicine\u201d doesn\u2019t think highly of interventions like PRP and NAD+, he added, because there\u2019s not enough research behind them. \u201cThere can be physical, emotional, and financial costs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">But Eyvazzadeh\u2019s embrace of these practices is exactly why her patients trust her. Kristen Cropper, a former patient who works in the wine industry, credits Eyvazzadeh\u2019s suggestions \u2014\u00a0like doing two rounds of PRP therapy \u2014\u00a0for thickening her uterine lining and helped her get pregnant. \u201cShe is by your side the entire way, but she won\u2019t sugarcoat things,\u201d Cropper said. For those who do become patients, she takes a high-touch approach. \u201cI don\u2019t care if you\u2019re a billionaire or if you work at the grocery store \u2014 everyone\u2019s VIP,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou feel like you\u2019re her only patient.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">Tech industry employee Anne \u017divojnovi\u0107 started working with Eyvazzadeh because after having several miscarriages, she felt she was getting passed around between specialists and having to fight to get follow-up testing. It seemed no one was willing to take a holistic view of her situation, she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">In contrast, Eyvazzadeh took the time to \u201cfigure out the puzzle pieces.\u201d \u017divojnovi\u0107 had her first child after working with the doctor and enlisted her services again for the second, despite having gained insurance benefits that would have paid for treatment elsewhere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">\u201cIt was worth every penny for us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">The effectiveness of Eyvazzadeh\u2019s treatments is a trade secret. She doesn\u2019t report her data to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/assisted-reproduction-ivf-industry-regulation-2015-6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">federally mandated (but not enforced (opens in new tab)<\/a>) or the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, which tracks IVF success rates. She thinks SART\u2019s stats don\u2019t offer enough specificity. Instead, she offers data directly to prospective patients: \u201cTell me your age, tell me your [<a href=\"https:\/\/my.clevelandclinic.org\/health\/diagnostics\/22681-anti-mullerian-hormone-test\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Anti-Mullerian Hormone (opens in new tab)<\/a> level], tell me what you\u2019ve been through, and I\u2019ll give you a personalized likelihood of success,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m not trying to hide anything.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Her clinic has several vats with liquid nitrogen where embryos are stored. <\/p>\n<p>Eyvazzadeh bubbles with excitement when she notices a particularly \u201cbeautiful\u201d embryo. \u200b<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/law.ucdavis.edu\/people\/lisa-ikemoto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">UC Davis professor Lisa Ikemoto (opens in new tab)<\/a>, who studies bioethics and reproductive technology, said it\u2019s not uncommon for fertility clinics to withhold data. The SART reporting system has flaws, she said; among them, clinics can be discouraged from taking on complex or high-risk cases to avoid lowering their scores.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">\u201cAs the data is reported, it\u2019s hard to catch nuances or points of comparison,\u201d Ikemoto said. \u201cSo if a doctor takes older patients, or those with other health concerns, you might decide that the better strategy for you is simply not to report.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">Eun-Joo Chang, a consultant in her mid-50s who is pregnant, said she was rejected by other IVF clinics before finding Eyvazzadeh. She credits the doctor with taking a full measure of her health and fitness instead of refusing to work with her solely because of her age.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-block article-body undefined text-left\">And Chang isn\u2019t the only patient in her 50s who is expecting.
