The Italian looked dominant on Centre Court, making light work of the seven-time champion as he set up a mouthwatering final with his closest rival, Carlos Alcaraz<\/a>.<\/p>\n Fans are still concerned about the fitness of the world number one, however, as Sinner injured his elbow<\/a> during his fourth-round match with Grigor Dimitrov.<\/p>\n Looking to ease those concerns, Sinner\u2019s<\/a> coach Simone Vagnozzi has provided an update on the elbow injury.<\/p>\n Simone Vagnozzi says Jannik Sinner\u2019s elbow is \u2018getting better every day\u2019<\/p>\n During an interview with Ubitennis<\/a>, Vagnozzi shared an update on Sinner\u2019s elbow ahead of the Wimbledon final.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re managing the elbow, but it\u2019s getting better every day,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you\u2019re on the court, during the match, it\u2019s not even easy to understand what\u2019s happening to you.<\/p>\n \u201cThen they did an MRI and did several tests; he\u2019s managing it well and is focusing on what he can do.\u201d<\/p>\n Vagnozzi proceeded to suggest whether the injury could give Alcaraz an edge in the final.<\/p>\n \u201cWe hope his game changes a lot. [Grigor] Dimitrov<\/a> played a very good match, but Jannik was a bit conditioned by the fall, so he served slower and worse, and he also played slower with his forehand,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was easier to vary his game then; it always depends on both sides.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you serve slower, it will be easier for [Carlos] Alcaraz to vary his game.<\/p>\n \u201cThe serve will count a lot, and we\u2019ve seen how well Alcaraz serves, especially in the last few matches.
