St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy defensive tackle Elijah Ali.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The 6\u20195, 285-pounder took an official visit to the Forty Acres this week and officially picked up his offer from the Longhorns. Ali will sign on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cThis Texas offer means everything to me because I went from having nothing to getting a shot at one of the best collegiate programs,\u201d Ali <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/college\/texas\/longformarticle\/texas-longhorns-football-recruiting-storylines-steve-sarkisian-dia-bell-kj-lacey-qb-battle-2027-arch-manning-leaders-rb3-offensive-line-kyle-flood-freshmen-272684352\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told<\/a> Horns247. \u201cThe visit was great all around. The staff showed me hospitality and the meetings with Coach (Will) Muschamp and Coach (Kenny) Baker were able to open my eyes to opportunities further beyond my imagination. After the visit, Texas stands as my No. 1 school above all else.
