Lady Gaga<\/a> was the big winner in the Best Pop Vocal Album category at the 2026 Grammy Awards<\/a>. She took home the honor for\u00a0Mayhem, beating out Justin Bieber<\/a>, Miley Cyrus<\/a>, Teddy Swims<\/a>, and Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>.<\/p>\n Best Pop Vocal Album was one of the awards announced during the main ceremony at the Grammys, with Teyana Taylor<\/a> and Nikki Glaser<\/a> being the ones to hand Gaga her trophy. Before the \u201cAbracadabra\u201d singer took the stage, though, the cameras panned to the audience, and many viewers were upset with Cyrus\u2019 reaction to Gaga\u2019s win.<\/p>\n The \u201cFlowers\u201d singer eventually clapped as Gaga made her way to the stage, but noticeably didn\u2019t give her a standing ovation like most of the people around her. She whispered something to fianc\u00e9 Maxx Morando when she was shown on television, and had a straight look on her face while applauding.<\/p>\n \u201cUmmm sorry why is Miley not clapping?\u201d one person wrote<\/a> on X. \u201cmiley not standing up\u2026okay\u2026\u201d someone else wrote<\/a>, while another viewer said<\/a>, \u201cmiley not even clapping.\u201d Another X user said<\/a>, \u201cwhy the shade to gaga, miley??\u201d<\/p>\n Many of Cyrus\u2019 fans quickly jumped to her defense, and rather than responding to her reaction to the award, claimed she was \u201csnubbed\u201d and noted that they wished she won the honor over Gaga. Best Pop Vocal Album was Cyrus\u2019 only nomination of the night for her 2025 album\u00a0Something Beautiful.<\/p>\n Before accepting her award, Gaga hit the stage to perform \u201cAbracadabra.\u201d Before the show, she was also announced as the winner of the Best Dance Pop Recording award, as well as Best Remixed Recording (non-classical).
