Cameron Fenske said. In a <a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0Asrxezz29Pu21z6LQScqiMswncEKrVYvVsyie7EbVPUGqBBdi7DYpXwFxRcWmYnNl&amp;id=100064656133359&amp;mibextid=wwXIfr\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">video posted by North Bay Animal Services<\/a>, the contracted animal control provider for Sebastopol, a mountain lion is seen simply walking around a back patio area.<\/p>\n<p>A mountain lion was last spotted on First Street and seemed to be headed west, Fenske said. Another witness called about 11:30 a.m. to report a photo of the animal taken near Lynch Road, but it\u2019s unclear when the photo was taken.<\/p>\n<p>Officers, North Bay Animal Services and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife responded to the area to search. They eventually left after not spotting the mountain lion and reports stopped.<\/p>\n<p>Fenske said authorities believe the animal has left the area.<\/p>\n<p>Sebastopol police asked that anyone who spots a mountain lion call the police station at 707-829-4400 or animal services at 707-762-6227.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A mountain lion was spotted multiple times Sunday morning around Sebastopol, according to police.
