Carmen Electra attended Steven Tyler\u2019s 7th Annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday, Feb. 1<\/p>\n

While speaking to PEOPLE, Electra revealed the rosary tattoo on her back was inspired by the people who’ve wronged her<\/p>\n

\u201cI figured if I have God’s hands on my back, go ahead and try to stab me and see what kind of karma you get,” she said<\/p>\n

Carmen Electra<\/a> is sending a message to people who have bad intentions with the latest addition to her tattoo collection.<\/p>\n

While attending Steven Tyler\u2019s 7th Annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday, Feb. 1, the actress, 53, spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her new back tattoo. The ink, inspired by people who’ve hurt her throughout the years, features a pair of praying hands holding onto a rosary.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s pretty much single needle, mostly single needle,\u201d she tells PEOPLE of her tattoo. \u201cI’m obviously really into tattoos lately.\u201d<\/p>\n

Showing PEOPLE the tattoos up and down her forearms, she adds, \u201cThese are pretty much almost all new, except for that one.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Baywatch<\/a> star then spoke candidly about the meaning behind her back tattoo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got the back. You know, I’ve been stabbed in the back so many times,\u201d she says. \u201cI figured if I have God’s hands on my back, go ahead and try to stab me and see what kind of karma you get.\u201d<\/p>\n

She adds, \u201cOh, yes, I’ve had so many swords I pulled out of my back. I’ve turned them into paddles, and I’ve used them as paddles to get to shore. Now I’m on the other side, and now I see and now I know what I don’t want.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if she was speaking about being stabbed in the back in her personal or professional life, she replies, \u201cEverything, dating.\u201d<\/p>\n

Electra\u2019s past relationships included her ex-husband Dave Navarro<\/a>, whom she was married to from 2003 to 2007.<\/p>\n

She was also married to former professional basketball player Dennis Rodman<\/a> from 1998 to 1999.<\/p>\n

Revealing to PEOPLE her dating deal breakers, the beauty icon says, \u201cI don’t like liars. It\u2019s just really nice when you’re with someone who’s just really into you. I have had that before. It obviously didn’t last.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut once you know what it feels like to really be with someone who is so there for you, you can’t undo that feeling,\u201d she continues. \u201cYou know it’s just beautiful. Somebody who’s very romantic. I remember when I was dating Dave, I was so not romantic, and he was teaching me how to be romantic, but now I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to the notion that Navarro is a tough rockstar, Electra says, \u201cHe is, but no, he’s so romantic.\u201d<\/p>\n

She tells PEOPLE that the musician would plan things for her, adding, \u201cLike the 10th of every month, we would get together, because we met on the 10th, and that was all his idea.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLike, we’re gonna have a special dinner for the 10th of every month, because we met on this date, cute things like that were really thoughtful,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

When asked if her ex ruined it for other men due to Electra now needing that level of romance, the star says, \u201cExactly. There you go.\u201d<\/p>\n
