However, that date is now the first day of his sentencing phase. That&#8217;s because, Thompson and his legal decided to enter a <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/abc11.com\/post\/raleigh-mass-shooter-guilty-plea-austin-thompson-plead-hedingham-deadly-shooting-avoid-trial\/18437995\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">guilty plea for all five murders<\/a> and some additional charges on Jan. 21 in Wake County.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">In the motion, Thompson said he wanted to plead guilty to all charges to <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/abc11.com\/post\/raleigh-nc-active-shooting-mass-shooter-in\/12327191\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">spare the community of a trial<\/a> and inflict more trauma.
