Water is slowly being restored in the Town of
\nNashville after officials said the town\u2019s water supply had been shut off. <\/p>\n
In a post on Facebook, officials said full
\npressure should resume by midnight to affected areas, however, a boil water
\nadvisory is in effect until further notice. <\/p>\n
It comes after the town issued an apology earlier
\nin the day, after saying the water issues were a result of five major water
\nmain breaks in the City of Rocky Mount. <\/p>\n
City of Rocky Mount \u201cAny service interruption experienced by the Town Nashville officials said residents should boil \u201cYou may experience air in the water lines,\u201d officials Officials said residents may notice some hydrants running throughout town. Officials assured it is intentional and flushed the water system following the recent repairs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nofficials said<\/a> that while the city is experiencing isolated water leaks due
\nto winter weather, continuous water service has been maintained throughout the
\nentire service area, including service to wholesale customers like the Town of
\nNashville. <\/p>\n
\nof Nashville resulted from leaks within their own system, downstream of the
\nCity\u2019s wholesale metered connections, and was not related to the City of Rocky
\nMount\u2019s water supply or system operations,\u201d Rocky Mount officials said. <\/p>\n
