\n\tThe biggest question heading into Apple TV<\/a> press day was whether there would be a sequel to the biggest grossing sports movie of all-time and 4x Oscar nominee, F1<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tTaking a question from the audience, Apple\u2019s SVP of Services, Eddie Cue, read it to Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali who responded, \u201cStay tuned.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re going to tell you something more in the future,\u201d said Domenicali who was on the stage at the Santa Monica Barker Hanger in the final session today with Cue \u201cWe need to digest the success of this movie. If you want to think of a new one, it has to be very good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tF1 wasn\u2019t just the biggest sports movie of all-time at the global box office with north of $631M, but it was also Brad Pitt\u2019s highest grossing movie and Apple Original Films top grossing theatrical release to date. The pic was distributed and co-marketed by Warner Bros. <\/p>\n

\n\tBeamed Domenicali about the success of the film and what it meant to the sport, \u201cthat FI would be able to be talked about in another dimension like Hollywood, we didn\u2019t think was possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCue and Domenicali spoke to attendees about Apple\u2019s new collaboration with F1 to stream the sport at no extra incremental cost to subscribers. <\/p>\n

\n\tCue spoke about how with Apple TV, there\u2019s now one single place to watch F1, on all AppleTVs, iPhones, and everything including qualifying races, spring races, post-races. 4K and Dolby are the big pluses in the Apple broadcast of F1; the first time that the sport will be boosted in its visuals and sound. <\/p>\n

\n\tCue exclaimed, \u201cWe\u2019re going to bring everything behind Apple \u2014 Apple Maps, Apple Music\u2013 we\u2019re going to bring everything that Apple has to bear upon the fans. It\u2019s an incredibly exciting time in doing this together.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tSaid Domenicali about the Apple partnership, \u201cRelevancy is the key to our success, relevancy in the right platform.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tAdded Cue about another F1 movie and its team-up with the sport with 24 races in two weeks\u201d \u201cWe got 24 F1 movies on Apple TV. I don\u2019t know what the ending is.
