Since welcoming her baby boy in February 2023, Keke Palmer<\/a> has often shared glimpses of her motherhood journey. In a conversation with TODAY\u2019s Craig Melvin on February 2, she spoke about how she is navigating the \u201cterrible twos\u201d with her toddler.<\/p>\n

Keke Palmer is currently busy promoting her upcoming series, \u201cThe Burbs,\u201d and recently stopped by TODAY for a conversation. When host Craig Melvin asked for an update on her son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, she replied that he was \u201cbeing terrible\u201d as he is about to complete the \u201cterrible two\u201d stage.<\/p>\n

Palmer said, \u201cHe has a really crazy attitude. He would tell me, \u2018Mommy, what you doing for me? What you doing for me?\u2019 He\u2019s speaking his baby language, but I\u2019m right there doing everything I can to make sure I show up.\u201d Her baby will turn three years old on February 25.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, the \u201cBaby, This is Keke Palmer\u201d podcast host said that playing a mother for the first time in \u201cThe Burbs\u201d gave her \u201cso much more than I knew it would.\u201d She explained, \u201cI guess I should have expected it. After you have a kid, it really does expand your heart in a way you can\u2019t imagine until it happens. And so, I definitely put that into the character Samira for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Palmer shares her baby boy with her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson. She often gives little glimpses of her life with baby Leodis on her social media. Back in October 2025, the actor, who usually refrains from making personal posts, opened up about the challenges of motherhood in an Instagram<\/a> post.<\/p>\n

Alongside a series of photos that showed the mother-son duo smiling and laughing, the \u201cOne of Them Days\u201d\u00a0star addressed the mothers who are \u201cdoing it on their own.\u201d She wrote, \u201cNot as a moment of pity or as a badge of hardship because being a mother is difficult, period. I just want to acknowledge you!\u201d The lengthy caption was a heartfelt message from her to all mothers.<\/p>\n
