\n\tSherri<\/a> Shepherd has broken her silence after it was revealed her daytime talk show was canceled after four seasons.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe talk show host took to social media to express her gratitude following the support she received amid news that her show was ending.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWow! I am completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for me and The @sherrishowtv,\u201d the Sex Lives of College Girls alum said on Instagram<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tShepherd also noted that she would address the show\u2019s cancellation on her show, but she was taking some time off as she had been diagnosed with Covid.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou might\u2019ve noticed that yesterday and today I was struggling because I wasn\u2019t feeling up to speed. Well it turns out I have Covid,\u201d she added. \u201cAs soon as I feel better and return to the show, I will address all of the news that has come out. Until then, I am truly grateful that SHERRI has made such an impact on you! See ya soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement on Monday, February 2<\/a>, producer-distributor Debmar-Mercury confirmed the Sherri show was coming to an end following four seasons.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production \u2013 which has found strong creative momentum this season \u2013 or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd<\/a>,\u201d Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus said in a statement. \u201cWe believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe producers made the statement and didn\u2019t include Shepherd, which fellow comedian and former\u00a0The Real\u00a0talk show host Loni Love called out on social media.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSherri should have been given the courtesy of announcing her show\u2019s end instead of an article announcing it. (Just like Kelly got to announce her show\u2019s end.),\u201d Love posted on X<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s not like The Real, which was a panel show, but this was a solo-hosted show. Or the production company could have at least made a joint announcement as a producer and host. Seeing \u2018cancelled\u2019 stamped all over your picture is depressing, especially when the show was having good ratings. Only onward and upward from this.\u201d
