A cheeky reporter visited Billie Eilish\u2019s $3 million Los Angeles mansion and asked to be let in days after her \u201cstolen land\u201d comments at the Grammys \u2014 only to be met by a massive, locked fence surrounding the property, video shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cBillie, let us in please, Billie. We are here because this is stolen land,\u201d GB News reporter Ben Leo pleaded outside of the pop star\u2019s home<\/a> in a post dated . \u201cAnd we think we should be given access to your quite lovely\u00a0$3 million dollar mansion.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully, if she sticks by her merits, she\u2019ll have no problem with me waltzing in, maybe making a cup of coffee or a tea,\u201d he said in the clip \u2014 but received no answer at the gate.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to the driveway, Billie does believe in borders. She believes in massive gates keeping people out,\u201d he added, noting the security cameras lining the property.<\/p>\n

The lefty singer, 24, has been facing calls to fork over her mansion to local Native American tribes following her controversial anti-ICE remarks<\/a> she made while accepting the award for \u201cSong of the Year\u201d on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one is illegal on stolen land,\u201d she declared before adding emphatically, \u201cF\u2014k ICE.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eilish\u2019s maternal uncle, former US Rep. Brian Baird, stood by his niece and slammed the call to give up her home as \u201cdisingenuous.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh please, give me a break!\u201d Baird, who represented Washington\u2019s 3rd congressional district from 1999 to 2011, told the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Baird said that Eilish\u2019s family \u201chas done a lot for the immigrant community and their cause\u201d and stressed the \u201cWallflower\u201d singer\u2019s relatives are \u201cstanding behind her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cICE agents are killing people on the street,\u201d he told the paper.<\/p>\n

When asked about Eilish\u2019s Grammy comments, Baird simply responded, \u201cTechnically, everyone is an immigrant in this country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eilish\u2019s home stands on ancestral land that once belonged to the Tongva tribe, also known as the \u201cFirst Angelenos.\u201d The tribe said they appreciated Eilish\u2019s sentiment\u00a0but added they\u2019ve never heard from the artist.<\/p>\n

\u201cEilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property, [but] we do value the instance when public figures provide visibility to the true history of this country,\u201d a Tongva spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

They said in the future, they hope the Tongva \u201ccan explicitly be referenced to ensure the public understands that the greater Los Angeles Basin remains Gabrieleno Tongva territory.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Los Angeles law firm has offered to take legal action to evict Eilish from the property at no cost on behalf of the Tongva.<\/p>\n

\u201cSinai Law Firm is offering to evict Billie Eilish from her Los Angeles home on a pro bono basis on behalf of the Tongva Tribe,\u201d the firm, which boasts itself as the premiere eviction firm in the country, said in a statement on Tuesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not clear if any formal action has been taken.<\/p>\n
