He registered the secondary assist on <a href=\"https:\/\/russianmachineneverbreaks.com\/2026\/02\/05\/pierre-luc-dubois-scores-first-goal-season-return-game-injury-capitals-predators\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pierre-Luc Dubois\u2019s first-period goal<\/a> while also putting one shot on goal and registering two shot blocks.<\/p>\n<p>Carlson has 46 points (10g, 36a) in 55 games this year. He missed four games earlier this season due to two separate upper-body injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The Capitals\u2019 matchup with the Predators is their last before the NHL\u2019s break for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
