\n\tTwisted Sister<\/a> have canceled all 2026 50th anniversary reunion<\/a> shows <\/a>following the \u201csudden and unexpected resignation\u201d of Dee Snider<\/a> due to newly revealed health challenges by the frontman.<\/p>\n \n\tIn a statement, the band said all shows beginning April 25 in Sao Paulo Brazil and continuing through the summer have been cancelled and the \u201cfuture of Twisted Sister will be determined in the next several weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe announcement was shared on the band\u2019s official Instagram account alongside a separate statement by Snider. \u201cA lifetime of legendarily aggressive performing has taken its toll on Dee Snider\u2019s body and soul,\u201d the message began, before revealing that the lead singer suffers from degenerative arthritis and had several surgeries over the years only to be able to \u201cperform a few songs at a time in pain.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAdding insult to injury, Dee has recently found out the level of intensity he has dedicated to his life\u2019s work has taken its toll on his heart as well,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cHe can no longer push the boundaries of rock \u2018n\u2019 roll fury like he has done for decades.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tIn his own words, Snider said, \u201cI don\u2019t know of any other way to rock.
