Chelsea formally confirm that Joao Felix has completed a permanent transfer to Al-Nassr, further bolstering their financial position ahead of more incomings.<\/p>\n

Chelsea<\/a> have confirmed that they have sold Joao Felix<\/a> to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After his failed loan stint at AC Milan, the Portugal international has been back at the West Londoners having missed out on their Club World Cup triumph.<\/p>\n

A reintegration into Enzo Maresca<\/a>‘s squad was always out of the question and it initially emerged that Benfica were attempting to secure a reunion with a player who has previously represented their academy and first team.<\/p>\n

Instead, it became apparent last week that Al-Nassr were on the brink of signing 25-year-old, his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> having allegedly played his part in convincing the versatile attacker to make the switch to the Middle East.<\/p>\n

Over the past 48 hours, Felix has been caught on video completing the formalities ahead of a transfer, while it was reported that he had already featured in an Al-Nassr training session.<\/p>\n

Chelsea confirm Joao Felix exit<\/p>\n

On Tuesday afternoon, Chelsea finally announced that they had parted ways with Felix on a permanent basis.<\/p>\n

The confirmation brings to an end Felix’s second stint at Stamford Bridge, where he contributed seven goals and two assists from 20 appearances.<\/p>\n

Although a transfer fee has not been revealed, Fabrizio Romano has claimed<\/a> that Al-Nassr are paying\u00a0a fixed fee of \u20ac30m (\u00a325.3m) and a potential \u20ac20m (\u00a316.9m) in performance-related add-ons.<\/p>\n

Chelsea generating more income and getting a big earner off the wage bill represents a major boost ahead of attempting to finalise deals<\/a> for Ajax defender Jorrel Hato<\/a> and RB Leipzig playmaker Xavi Simons<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How much money have Chelsea raised in transfer fees this summer?<\/p>\n

Felix becomes the latest high-profile name to leave Chelsea, following the likes of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Djordje Petrovic, Bashir Humphreys, Mathis Amougou and Noni Madueke.<\/p>\n

Officially, a total of \u00a388.5m had been generated before Felix’s sale, taking Chelsea up to somewhere in the region of \u00a3113m.<\/p>\n

That is not including the undisclosed transfer fee from Amougou’s sale to Strasbourg, which is plausibly likely to be a similar fee to the \u00a312m that Chelsea paid in February.<\/p>\n

Undisclosed fees were also registered for the sales of Marcus Bettinelli, Zak Sturge and Harry Rodda, realistically taking Chelsea to somewhere between \u00a3125m to \u00a3130m in money generated.<\/p>\n
