Planned Parenthood\u2019s Greensburg Health Center, which had closed mid-January, has fully reopened.<\/p>\n
According to its website<\/a>, normal in-person services at 125 Nature Park Road were restored Thursday.<\/p>\n Planned Parenthood offers a variety of services <\/a>including cancer screenings, testing for pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, as well as providing gender-affirming care, mental health support, wellness and preventative care.<\/p>\n In 2025, Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania provided services to more than 26,700 people and had more than 11,800 in-person patient visits, according to its annual report<\/a>.<\/p>\n The closures come amid a battle over federal funding.<\/p>\n In July, President Donald Trump signed legislation into law that defunded Planned Parenthood and cut federal Medicaid funding. Planned Parenthood Federation of America filed a lawsuit in July against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as reported by The Associated Press.<\/p>\n Gov. Josh Shapiro signed onto the lawsuit in July.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile PPWP cannot participate in Medicaid at this time, we will work with every patient to ensure they get the care they need, when they need it,\u201d according to a statement posted on PPWP\u2019s website. \u201cThank you to the donors who make this possible.\u201d<\/p>\n Planned Parenthood Johnstown is also fully opened.<\/p>\n
