The actress and model also shared one of her biggest relationship deal breakers<\/p>\n

Carmen Electra<\/a> says she wasn\u2019t always particularly romantic \u2014\u00a0 until she met one specific guy.<\/p>\n

Electra, 53, caught up with PEOPLE exclusively at Steven Tyler\u2019s<\/a> 7th Annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party in Hollywood, Calif. During the conversation, the actress and model \u2014 who is currently single \u2014 said that while dating is on her agenda for 2026, she has some definite deal breakers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t like liars,\u201d Electra told PEOPLE.<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIt\u2019s just really nice when you’re with someone [who’s] just really into you. I have had that before. It obviously didn’t last. But once you know what it feels like to really be with someone [who] is so there for you, you can’t undo that feeling. You know, it’s just beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c[I want] somebody that’s very romantic,\u201d she continued. \u201cI remember when I was dating Dave [Navarro]<\/a>, I was so not romantic, and he was teaching me how to be romantic, but now I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

Electra and Navarro, the lead guitarist for Jane\u2019s Addiction<\/a>, married in 2003 and announced their separation in 2006, finalizing their divorce in 2007. Their relationship was documented on the reality show ‘Till Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave, which aired on MTV for one season in 2004. The couple had no children, and a source<\/a> described their split as \u201camicable\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

Electra had previously been married to former NBA star Dennis Rodman<\/a>. The pair tied the knot in November 1998 and divorcing six months later.<\/a><\/p>\n

She also briefly dated Prince<\/a> in the \u201890s, and was linked to Simon Cowell<\/a> from late 2012 to early 2013 \u2014 and was known to have remained on good terms with them both.<\/p>\n

While speaking to PEOPLE at the Jam for Janie event, Electra shared that she feels stronger than ever \u2014 and showed off a new back tattoo<\/a> that she said symbolized both strength and protection.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got the back [tattoo],\u201d she said, revealing a black tattoo of hands in prayer near her right shoulder blade.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I’ve been stabbed in the back so many times. I figured if I have God’s hands on my back, go ahead and try to stab me and see what kind of karma you get,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, yes, I’ve had so many swords I pulled out of my back. I’ve turned them into paddles, and I’ve used them as paddles to get to shore. Now I’m on the other side, and now I see and now I know what I don’t want,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
