Regarded as one of the most influential bands in music<\/a> history, The Beatles, which consists of Paul McCartney<\/a>, Ringo Starr<\/a>, John Lennon<\/a> and George Harrison, have released not just a slew of hit and award-winning songs but also a handful of tracks that highlight their creativity<\/a>, artistry and passion as musicians.<\/p>\n

However, behind their commercial success<\/a> and groundbreaking legacy, the British rock band is not immune to criticism.<\/p>\n

Over the years, critics have labeled certain songs as overrated or musically repetitive, suggesting that not every release matched the band\u2019s celebrated standards.<\/p>\n

With this, Collider<\/a> ranked \u201c10 Worst Songs by The Beatles,\u201d highlighting the tracks that received unfavorable reactions from the public.<\/p>\n

Landing at the top of the list is \u201cDig It,\u201d a song from their 12th and final studio album, Let It Be.<\/p>\n

This also marks their second all-group composition, after their instrumental “Flying” on their 1967 album Magical Mystery Tour.<\/p>\n

The song originated during one of their music sessions, resulting in a 15-minute loosely structured jam.<\/p>\n

\u201cDig It\u201d was reportedly recorded during their rehearsals<\/a> for the song \u201cLet It Be,\u201d which later became one of the band\u2019s iconic hits.<\/p>\n

Based on the comments on the band\u2019s remastered video on their official YouTube <\/a>channel, fans were not impressed by how John Lennon executed the song. Others even pointed out that he was channeling the singing style of the Rolling Stones icon.<\/p>\n

\u201cJohn impersonating Mick Jagger<\/a>‘s singing style,\u201d one wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cJohn Lennon sounds like Mick Jagger. Lol,\u201d a commenter echoed.<\/p>\n

The same goes for another who said, \u201cThis sounds like The Rolling Stones.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although it is known that \u201cDig It\u201d was recorded during a live jam session and some questioned why it was included on the album, others saw it as a raw insight into the band\u2019s dynamic chemistry and creative process.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo simple, so quickly over, it’s almost as if \u2018Dig It\u2019 was included as a joke<\/a> or as an aside or as filler on one of history’s most important and well-regarded full albums…but man alive! I absolutely LOVE Dig It and I’m always compelled to hammer out those simple chords on the piano after I hear it! Love Dig It!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

With \u201cDig It\u201d making it the \u201cworst song\u201d by The Beatles, the list also includes “Wild Honey Pie” as second and “Why Don’t We Do It in the Road?” as third, both from their 1968 self-titled studio album.<\/p>\n

Another song that was not a crowd favorite was “Maggie Mae,” ranked fourth, followed by “Honey Don’t” at fifth.<\/p>\n

Completing the top 10 are “Little Child,\u201d \u201cWhat Goes On,\u201d “Your Mother Should Know,\u201d \u201cRun for Your Life,” and lastly, “Savoy Truffle,” written by Harrison, which was also deemed \u201cone of his weakest Beatles-era efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n
