\n\tSherri<\/a> Shepherd returned Monday and addressed the cancellation of her talk show<\/a> after four seasons.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actress and host had previously teased that she would talk about her show ending, but had to take some time after being diagnosed with Covid<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is a hard morning for all of us here at Sherri,\u201d Shepherd said, getting visibly emotional. \u201cOur show has not been renewed for another season.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShepherd echoed what she said in her Instagram post, saying she was \u201coverwhelmed by the outpouring of love\u201d she received after news that her show was canceled.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFrom the audience to everybody on social media, to people who stop me in the store and still talk to me despite me not having a wig on. They still talk to me from the emails and the texts, the messages \u2014 I feel every bit of the love that you\u2019ve been sending to me and thank you so much,\u201d she continued. \u201cI want to say from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you. I want to thank you for welcoming me into your homes every single day. I want to thank you for laughing and crying with us. Thank you for supporting my unhealthy obsession with Lenny Kravitz.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShepherd said that when she began her talk show, she built it on joy, adding, \u201cThe intention of this show was always my prayer for you to leave happier than when you came. It has been my dream to have a talk show and I am so grateful I got the chance to do it for four seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI want to be clear, I\u2019m not ready to throw in the towel on this show just yet,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re going to be airing episodes all through the fall and we\u2019re going to continue to fight to keep the show alive in some way, shape or form.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShepherd called herself a \u201cfighter,\u201d adding, \u201cI don\u2019t know exactly what it\u2019s going to look like, but I promise I will continue to spread joy.\u201d<\/p>\n
