Human toddlers and baby elephants have many things in common, and developing a personality<\/a> is one of the strongest similarities they share. Just like toddlers, no two baby elephants behave the same way, and when given the opportunity, they quickly begin to show what makes them tick.<\/p>\n

While some young elephants are quiet and reserved<\/a>, others\u2014like Pardamat\u2014wake up every day and choose chaos the moment their feet hit the dirt. The 3-year-old African elephant is well known for his boisterous behavior among the other pachyderms at the Nairobi Nursery.<\/p>\n

According to the Sheldrick Trust\u2019s most recent Instagram post, \u201cUpon leaving his bedroom in the morning, he sometimes can\u2019t resist positioning himself in front of Talek\u2019s door, blocking her exit.\u201d Apparently, the Nursery\u2019s mini matriarchs quickly team up, pushing Pardamat back into the stall before running past him toward the exit.<\/p>\n

The video they shared offers an adorable glimpse into a minute of life with Pardamat and his \u201cpartner in crime,\u201d Olomunyak. The two are daily sparring partners<\/a> who spend much of their free time wrestling, teasing, and playing together.<\/p>\n

As Olomunyak rolls around in the dirt, Pardamat gives him a loving headbutt, which sparks a playful wrestling match<\/a> of trunks and tiny tusks. The two put on an adorable display of baby elephant roughhousing.<\/p>\n

Everyone Loves This Playful Baby Elephant’s Personality<\/p>\n

As you can imagine, followers of @sheldricktrust couldn’t wait to share their thoughts in the comment section. One Instagram fan wrote, “It\u2019s so wonderful to see their personalities emerging and that Pardamat feels safe and confident enough to bring the chaos.” \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude01 and another agreed, saying, “Yes, someone has to bring it, and Pardamat has stepped up!”<\/p>\n

Then @thesafariedit said, “It’s so lovely to see them play and their personalities shine. Such adorable mischief makers<\/a>.” \ud83d\ude0a While @laurieostx suggested, “This post needs a banner, \u201cBoy will be Boys!\u201d They are adorable! Maybe a little trunk envy!” \ud83d\udc18<\/p>\n

Multiple viewers expressed how much they appreciate the footage being shared, saying, “Bringing me extra joy today when I sorely need it,” and “Gosh! Can I like this a 1000 times over! Brought me such a big smile!”<\/p>\n
