Liam Neeson<\/a> and Pamela Anderson are creating serious buzz around Hollywood not just for their upcoming Naked Gun reboot but also for whispers of a potential off-screen romance.<\/p>\n

The two stars played coy about their relationship status during a recent appearance on Today, where host Craig Melvin didn\u2019t waste any time asking the question on everyone\u2019s mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s the deal here?\u201d Melvin asked during the July 29 episode<\/a>. \u201cYou\u2019re both single right now. There\u2019s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCraig!\u201d Neeson replied with mock outrage, while Anderson feigned confusion and pretended not to understand the question.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry \u2014 as two actors,\u201d the Taken star explained. \u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018Oh, this is nice. Let\u2019s not mold this. Let\u2019s just let it breathe.\u2019 And that\u2019s what we did.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melvin replied, \u201cWe\u2019re watching the beginning of the breathing of a budding relationship. America\u2019s here for it, we’re here for whatever this turns into.\u201d<\/p>\n

The chemistry between Neeson and Anderson<\/a> has also been evident in their red carpet appearances, and the Baywatch alum previously gushed about working with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a connection that is very sincere, very loving,\u201d Anderson said, per The Times<\/a>. \u201cThe chemistry was important.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neeson, who joked that his favorite part of filming Naked Gun was \u201cthe sex scenes,\u201d added that Anderson was \u201cfunny, incredibly sexy\u201d and that their chemistry \u201ccame naturally.\u201d<\/p>\n

While neither of them have yet to officially confirm the dating rumors, fans are all for the two becoming an item.<\/p>\n

Anderson was famously married to M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce drummer Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998, and they also share two sons.<\/p>\n
