Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> called out Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s hypocrisy on Monday night (February 9) after the president slammed Bad Bunny<\/a>\u2018s Super Bowl halftime show<\/a> performance as \u201can affront to the greatness of America.\u201d<\/p>\n

During his opening monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>, the late-night host read out Trump\u2019s Truth Social review<\/a> of the Puerto Rican singer-rapper\u2019s performance. Trump called the show \u201cabsolutely terrible,\u201d \u201cdisgusting,\u201d and a bad example \u201cfor young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a man who paid off a porn star who spanked him with his own face on a magazine,\u201d Kimmel retorted. \u201cAnd he\u2019s offended by the halftime. This is a guy that\u2019s okay with this being the release of the Epstein files.\u201d A screenshot of a heavily redacted document then appeared on screen.<\/p>\n

Kimmel then turned his attention to Turning Point USA\u2019s alternative halftime show, which featured a headline performance from long-time Trump supporter Kid Rock<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey might as well have put on the Kristi Noem<\/a> Shoots-Her-Puppy Bowl because this was not a good program,\u201d the comedian quipped. \u201cEven Donald Trump didn\u2019t watch the Kid Rock halftime show. He watched Bad Bunny. He wanted to make sure he hated him as much as he thought he would, and he did.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel said Trump missed out on a \u201cKid Rock lip-sync battle with himself,\u201d referencing the claims that the \u201cAmerican Badass\u201d singer was miming during his performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess they had some trouble with the pre-taped audio track because Kid\u2019s lips were not exactly in step with Kid\u2019s music,\u201d he continued, throwing to a clip of Rock\u2019s out-of-sync performance. \u201cBut this is it in a nutshell. They complain about how bad everything is, and then they do it worse. And not only do they do it worse, they do it in jorts.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, as Kimmel noted, Turning Point USA seemed happy with the show and promised to do another one for the next Super Bowl. \u201cNext year it\u2019ll be Lara Trump<\/a> with a Ted Nugent cover band,\u201d Kimmel joked. \u201cThey\u2019ve got to do it for the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Summing the drama up, Kimmel said, \u201cThey decided to make their own halftime show and, of course, like everything they do, it was a disaster. They couldn\u2019t stream it. They didn\u2019t get the rights. Kid Rock\u2019s lip-sync was screwed up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s the other thing,\u201d he continued. \u201cAlmost all the complaints about Bad Bunny were \u2018you can\u2019t understand what he\u2019s saying.\u2019 So, who do they go to? Kid Rock. An artist whose most popular song is literally gibberish. You think Donald Trump knows what Bawitdaba means? Kid Rock doesn\u2019t even know what that means!\u201d<\/p>\n
