Halle Berry<\/a> have never been one to not speak up and speak out about certain things and that sentiment was put on full display in an all-new interview. And trust us when we say, what she expressed is a message that should\u2019ve been told a lot louder a long time ago!<\/p>\n

For context, Berry is currently on a press tour, gearing up for the release of her new heist film, \u201cCrime 101.\u201d In it, she stars as a disillusioned insurance broker who\u2019s facing her own crossroads and eventually crosses paths with an elusive jewel thief who\u2019s eyeing the biggest score of his notorious career. The film is stacked with an all-star cast\u2014including Marvel stars Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan and Corey Hawkins\u2014with Berry being the effortlessly beautiful icing on the cake to round things out.<\/p>\n

However, in a recent sit down with \u201cHeart Evening Show,\u201d<\/a> she got candid about a not-so-sweet question she\u2019s tired of answering or addressing when it comes to doing interviews with the media.<\/p>\n

\u201cStop asking me about my f*cking age man,\u201d she answered immediately. \u201cIt comes up every time somebody talks about me. And I just hate that it\u2019s like, \u2018oh my God you\u2019re\u2014how are you 59?\u2019 Cause I\u2019ve been here 59 years that\u2019s how. You know, just as a woman that precedes us more than it does men. Like that\u2019s always a thing with everybody I meet. Whatever age I am at the time that seems to come up.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to double down on the double standard and explained how the men aren\u2019t subjected to the same types of conversations and that she\u2019s over having to address nearly every time she speaks with media.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like man, \u2018can we ever outrun our age?\u2019 Can we ever, like, get outside of that? Does that always have to define us as women?\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n

And she\u2019s right. You don\u2019t see Will Smith or Idris Elba or Morris Chestnut being constantly asked these types of questions. So why does Berry need to be routinely subjected to it? It is definitely a double standard and a tired one at that. So of course, by the time the \u201cCatwoman\u201d star\u2019s words began to circulate on social media, many were quick to side with her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey always bring up her age and how attractive she is, it\u2019s so boring. she is a grown woman with experience, thoughts, depth, intellect, stop with the \u201cyou\u2019re so pretty!\u201d wrote one user on TikTok.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople often believe that youth equates with beauty so they confuse age with beauty, It\u2019s not about age it\u2019s that you\u2019re beautiful,\u201d said another.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re tired. I wonder if we will stop obsessing over looking younger after this movement,\u201d one other user wrote.<\/p>\n

However, there were some who wanted her to reframe the question and look at what its implying in a different light.<\/p>\n

\u201cStop making it as a negative \u201chappening\u201d and reframe it as positive. 59 years old is a blessing, Halle. You\u2019ve proven that you can exist,\u201d one other user suggested.<\/p>\n

\u201cHalle u have a girlish\u2019 figure & all they say is that,\u201d noted one other user.<\/p>\n
