The eight-time Olympic gold medalist was a notable guest at a recent Unrivaled 3-on-3 game, where he revealed his growing allegiance to the Wings. Bolt’s interest, he explained, was sparked directly by Bueckers, the team’s dynamic young star.

“I’m definitely a fan,” Bolt stated. “We actually support Dallas; we’ve been to a few games in Dallas. So, actually, I’m getting season tickets this season, so looking forward to see much more games.”

This commitment from a global sports icon like Bolt underscores the significant impact Bueckers has made since joining the WNBA.

How Paige Bueckers won over the world’s fastest man

Bolt’s journey to becoming a Wings supporter began with a memorable encounter last year. The two athletes met in a locker room, an interaction that quickly went viral as they exchanged autographed jerseys—a clear sign of mutual admiration between two sports elites.

Their connection was highlighted again this week in Miami, where Bolt watched Bueckers play for Breeze BC in the Unrivaled league. Despite her team’s narrow 70-68 defeat to Kelsey Mitchell’s Hive BC, Bueckers put on a spectacular show, scoring 28 points on 13-of-23 shooting.

While Bolt admitted the trip wasn’t his idea initially, he gave credit to his longtime partner for encouraging him to attend.

“This is my first time. It’s been good,” Bolt said. “I don’t want to take all the credit from my girlfriend; she’s been here like four times, so she’s been telling me that I should come.” By the end of the night, Bueckers’ performance had clearly made a lasting impression.

With the next WNBA season on the horizon, Bueckers is building significant momentum. She is not only refining her game but also boosting the global profile of the Dallas Wings, attracting high-profile fans like Usain Bolt—an invaluable asset for the franchise both on and off the court.

Olympic legend Usain Bolt has become a Dallas Wings fan after being attracted to Paige Bueckers’ talent, giving…

[73
99,434
post-464925","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-wnba","tag-sports","tag-wnba
["GET
!["Sydney]("https://www.newsbeep.com/us/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2e459e6e-27f4-4c29-8eaf-12d82f6a639b.jpg")
