European football’s governing body have revealed the big money that was dished out in the 2024\/25 campaign<\/p>\n

UEFA have revealed that Celtic<\/a> made an eye-watering \u00a340million from last season’s Champions League heroics.<\/p>\n

After the Kairat Almaty calamity that saw the club drop into the Europa League this term, the memories of Europe’s elite competition may feel a long time ago for the Parkhead faithful. But just last term, it took a last-gasp equaliser from Alphonso Davies to send Bayern Munich through<\/a> to the last 16 at the expense of Brendan Rodgers<\/a> and his men in a 2-1 aggregate win.<\/p>\n

The Scottish champions navigated the league phase by finishing in 21st spot to secure a clash with the German giants in their 2024\/25 European campaign. And now European football’s governing body have revealed the financial prizes dished out to clubs last term.<\/p>\n

Qualifying for the league phase saw around \u00a315.3million flow into the Celtic Park coffers while another \u00a36.9million was earned during the league phase. The value pillar, which rewards clubs with strong coefficients and from large broadcast markets, earned the Hoops over \u00a311million.<\/p>\n

The league ranking and qualification for the playoff rounds also added around \u00a34.7million the kitty. UEFA state that a total of just over \u00a340m was issued to the Hoops during the competition.<\/p>\n

Rangers<\/a> performed in the Europa League last term after failing to navigate the tricky Champions League playoff route. Despite a top eight finish in the league phase and run to the quarter-final stage, the Light Blues banked substantially less than their rivals at just over \u00a318million.<\/p>\n

Qualification for the Europa League earned the club around \u00a34.1million with performances and the league ranking earning the Ibrox chiefs around \u00a32million. The value pillar added another \u00a36.1million to the pot.<\/p>\n

Current Premiership leaders Hearts were in the Conference League last season, earning themselves around \u00a34.9million.<\/p>\n

A \u00a32.7million balance was banked for qualification, while just over \u00a31million was added in the league phase through displays and the final league ranking. The value pillar also saw just over \u00a31.1million put into the Tynecastle accounts.<\/p>\n
