Jimmy Kimmel called out Attorney General Pam Bondi for a \u201cdeeply disturbing\u201d file contained within a binder of insults spotted at her congressional hearing on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Bondi, who has been under fire from Democrats and some Republicans for her botching of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, melted down during her House Judiciary Committee hearing on Capitol Hill, spending her time yelling and insulting lawmakers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

She was spotted with a binder containing a printout<\/a> of Rep. Pramila Jayapal\u2019s search history for the Epstein files, suggesting that the Justice Department was tracking lawmakers who viewed the unredacted documents to potentially use against them.<\/p>\n

Jayapal called the printout \u201ctotally inappropriate<\/a>\u201d in an X post on Thursday, adding, \u201cThat is outrageous and I intend to pursue this and stop this spying on members.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel shared Jayapal\u2019s outrage in his Thursday monologue:<\/p>\n

\u201cFor those who are wondering when the abuse of power will end, the answer is never, probably,\u201d Kimmel said.<\/p>\n

He showed a photo of Bondi\u2019s printout, noting, \u201cThey tracked [Jayapal\u2019s] search history in the private room at the DOJ, where congresspeople are, you know, legally permitted to look at the less redacted files.\u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it would seem that they tracked those congresspeople without their knowledge,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cThey looked at their search history to give Bondi an edge in the hearings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThen they\u2019re so dumb, they printed it out and put a title on the top: \u2018Jayapal Pramila search history,\u2019\u201d Kimmel marveled. \u201cIt\u2019s such a delicate balance between stupid and evil.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel added, \u201cThe idea that the Department of Justice in the executive branch is spying on Congress, people in the legislative branch, is deeply disturbing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel also ripped into GOP Speaker of the House Mike Johnson for his response to Bondi\u2019s printout. Johnson told reporters<\/a> on Wednesday, \u201cI\u2019m sure it was an oversight. That\u2019s my guess.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a bad guess,\u201d Kimmel replied. \u201cAn oversight? You mean somebody forgot to not track and document everything elected members of Congress were privately looking up? That is a hell of an oversight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Johnson may have downplayed the printout, he did still affirm Jayapal\u2019s sentiment that the Department of Justice should not be tracking the Epstein file search history of members of Congress. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s appropriate for anybody to be tracking that, so I will echo that to anybody involved with the DOJ,\u201d Johnson said. <\/p>\n

Kimmel\u2019s criticism comes a day after he called out<\/a> Bondi\u2019s \u201cmaddening\u201d behavior at the hearing, and ridiculed her claim that Trump was the \u201cmost transparent president in the nation\u2019s history.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fellow Republican Thomas Massie, who sparred with Bondi at the hearing, exposed her on X<\/a> after her bizarre actions.<\/p>\n

\u201cStaff literally gave her flash cards with individualized insults, but she couldn\u2019t memorize them,\u201d Massie wrote, \u201cSo you can see her shuffle through them to find the flash-cards-insult that matches the member.\u201d<\/p>\n
