There is a new world record for the longest snake ever measured in the wild. This absolute unit is a wild female reticulated python caught in the Maros region of Sulawesi, Indonesia.<\/p>\n

So twice as long as this insanely massive reticulated python<\/a>. Notice I keep mentioning \u2018the wild\u2019 because snakes in captivity will live longer than in the wild and are able to grow for a longer period of time. This snake was living in an \u2018eat or be eaten\u2019 world in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
