Chris Sutton reckons Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou<\/a> is the perfect man for the Parkhead hot seat.<\/p>\n The Hoops legend has been blown away by the job the Dane is doing at Fir Park \u2013 with the Steelmen barnstorming into the Premiership top four on a shoestring budget. Askou\u2019s men have lost just once in the league since October \u2013 in a narrow defeat at Ibrox \u2013 and snatched a point against Gers with 10 men on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Celtic have already started the process of finding a permanent manager in the summer while Martin O\u2019Neill attempts to steer the club to silverware in the remainder of this season. The Hoops have been linked with a move for Portugal head coach Roberto Martinez<\/a> \u2013 who will step down after the World Cup \u2013 with the Spaniard having close links with Celts coach Shaun Maloney from their time working together with the Belgian national team.<\/p>\n But Sutton is convinced the man for the job is right under his old club\u2019s nose. The Record Sport columnist said: \u201cI\u2019m now convinced Jens Berthel Askou would be a great fit for Celtic.<\/p>\n \u201cYou want his Motherwell team and your can\u2019t help but be impressed. They are arguably the best side to watch in the country.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s managed to build a team that is solid defensively, superbly maintains possession and creates chances \u2013 and all on a fraction of the money spent at other clubs.<\/p>\n Motherwell Manager Jens Berthel Askou applauds the Motherwell fans as he walks round the pitch at full-time with his players<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been a remarkable job. I\u2019ve never seen a Scottish team do what Motherwell has done this season \u2013 and that\u2019s dominate against Celtic<\/a> and Rangers.<\/p>\n \u201cUsually tams set up to try to stop the Glasgow clubs playing. Instead it\u2019s been the other way around this year.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve also been impressed with the way he communicates in the media.
