(Mike Stewart\/Associated Press)<\/p>\n<p>Valley High graduate Cody Laweryson on Friday agreed to a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training with the Minnesota Twins, according to published reports.<\/p>\n<p>Laweryson, a 27-year-old right-handed reliever, made his major league debut with the Twins on Sept. 13 and pitched in five games for Minnesota, going 0-1 with a 1.17 ERA in 7 2\/3 innings. He struck out seven and didn\u2019t walk a batter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Laweryson was drafted by the Twins in the 14th round in 2019.
