In the wake of Bad Bunny\u2019s Super Bowl halftime show performance, several Republican lawmakers demanded an investigation into baseless claims that the Latin superstar used explicit language that was not censored during his performance.<\/p>\n

According to Charles Gasparino of the New York Post<\/a>, the FCC looked into potential violations of its rules over \u201cindecent material\u201d and offensive language on public airwaves. What they found was that three songs performed by the Puerto Rican rapper that normally include references to sexual acts and genitalia (\u2018Tit\u00ed Me Pregunt\u00f3,\u2019 \u2018Monaco,\u2019 and \u2018Safaera\u2019) had those references removed for the versions at the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n \u201cThe agency is said to have shelved any additional scrutiny barring further evidence,\u201d Gasparino wrote.<\/p>\n Republican Congressman Randy Fine out of Florida initially claimed in a viral post on X<\/a>\u00a0that Bad Bunny\u2019s \u201cdisgusting\u201d performance was \u201cillegal\u201d while quoting lyrics that he did not even perform at the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n Rep. Mark Alford, a Republican from Missouri, went on Fox News to echo those sentiments<\/a> about Bad Bunny\u2019s performance.
