TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos now says none of Nancy Guthrie\u2019s family are considered suspects in the case.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot one single person in the family is a suspect,\u201d Sheriff Nanos told 13 News Monday, February 16.<\/p>\n
He added \u201cSo I am telling everyone effective today you guys (media) need to knock it off, quit. People are hurting. They are victims. I am saying they are clear. We have cleared them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nanos tells 13 News the family has been \u201c100% cooperative\u201d and family members were ruled out as suspects \u201cin the first few days.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe talked to them, we took their phones, we took their computers. I mean, we did everything. We processed their vehicles, we processed their homes. They have been really. They\u2019re victims,\u201d Nanos said.<\/p>\n
Sheriff Nanos says confirmed investigators recovered DNA from inside the house and that the entire house was blue-lighted, which is technology used to detect any DNA.<\/p>\n
The Sheriff added that communication released by the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department is shared with the FBI, and the FBI shares their communication with the PCSD.<\/p>\n
