CLEVELAND, Ohio \u2014 MetroHealth System will stop providing part-time, on-site clinical services by March 1 at the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland\u2019s Gordon Square location, the two organizations recently announced. <\/p>\n

The primary care team who served patients at Gordon Square will now see patients at MetroHealth\u2019s Brooklyn Health Center. As a result, Pride Network patients <\/a>\u2014 or those seeking health services for LGBTQ patients \u2014 do not need to change healthcare providers, MetroHealth said.<\/p>\n

When asked the reason for the change, MetroHealth said caregivers can see more patients at the Brooklyn location. <\/p>\n

The Brooklyn location offers several other services, including behavioral health care and an on-site pharmacy. <\/p>\n

The end of services at the Gordon Square location is not an overall reduction in MetroHealth\u2019s healthcare services to the LGBTQ+ community, the health system said. <\/p>\n

\u201cMetroHealth, which launched the region\u2019s first Pride Clinic nearly 20 years ago, remains committed to compassionate, inclusive care for every member of the LGBTQ+ community,\u201d the health system said. <\/p>\n

Here are other additions to MetroHealth\u2019s Pride Network:<\/p>\n

A new Pride Clinic, which offers health services for LGBTQ patients, at MetroHealth\u2019s West Park Health Center.Pride Clinic services\u2019 planned expansion at MetroHealth\u2019s clinics in Brooklyn, Brecksville and Cleveland Heights.
