Trader Joe\u2019s<\/a> is planning to open eight new locations across the U.S., adding several locations to its \u201ccoming soon\u201d<\/a> list.<\/p>\n

The California-based grocer currently operates in 42 states, leaving Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Mississippi, and West Virginia without locations.<\/p>\n

Last week, Trader Joe’s announced six new stores planned for Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Kansas and Washington. Those additions build on two locations previously revealed in July 2025 for Louisiana and Texas,<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are actively looking at hundreds of neighborhoods across the country as we hope to open more new neighborhood stores each year,\u201d a Trader Joe\u2019s spokesperson told Nexstar<\/a>.<\/p>\n
