The View has left fans outraged with an appearance from Savannah Chrisley, the MAGA-supporting daughter of controversial reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chrisley,<\/a> 28, is stepping in to guest host the ABC talk show while panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin is away on maternity leave, <\/a>but viewers were not happy with the pick due to Chrisley\u2019s outspoken support of Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201cSavannah Chrisley is a horrible choice for a co-host fill-in,\u201d one viewer complained on X. \u201cThere were no other Republicans available? Are you actively trying to alienate your audience?\u201d<\/p>\n

Others called for a boycott of the show, with one writing, \u201cI do not support you having Savannah Chrisley guest co-host your show. She is indebted to 47 for pardoning her criminal parents. This is wrong. I won’t watch.\u201d Another added, \u201cGuess I\u2019m not watching The View this week.\u201d<\/p>\n

Someone else chimed in on X: \u201cI am so disgusted by ABC and The View for giving Savannah Chrisley a platform. She and her family are entitled crooks, and Savannah brings nothing to the conversation. Let\u2019s hope she isn\u2019t at the table again! Congrats, Alyssa, but hurry back!\u201d<\/p>\n

Chrisley has not responded to the backlash swirling on social media, but reshared a lone post praising her on X, saying: \u201cSaw you on [The View \u2018today. So refreshing to see a young lady with brains. You are an All Star Savanna [sic] !!!! Fantastic Job Today.\u201d<\/p>\n

The guest host will appear on the show for the next four days. Tuesday\u2019s episode line-up on The View\u2019s website reports that the show was set to feature guests Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie Xo, for an interview today, but the stars were not in appearance. Jelly Roll\u2019s representatives did not immediately return The Independent\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

The Chrisleys<\/a> were best known for their Chrisley Knows Best series on USA Network, which followed the tight-knit family\u2019s wealthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n

It all came crashing down when Todd and Julie were indicted on charges of bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion<\/a> in August 2019. After the reality stars were found guilty, Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison while Julie was sentenced to seven years.<\/p>\n

However, Todd and Julie were pardoned in May 2025 by Trump<\/a>, who said that the celebrity couple was \u201cgiven a pretty harsh treatment based on what I\u2019m hearing.\u201d<\/p>\n
