Nearly 20\u00a0U.S.-based AI startups have raised mega-rounds\u00a0of $100 million or more in 2026\u00a0\u2014\u00a0and\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0been less than two months.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
If the first few weeks of 2026 are any\u00a0indicator, the AI startup market is in for another year of\u00a0monster funding rounds at eye-watering valuations.\u00a0U.S. AI startups raised more than\u00a0$76 billion\u00a0through\u00a0mega-rounds\u00a0in 2025, per TechCrunch\u2019s count.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Will startups see the same success in 2026?\u00a0Time will tell.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Here are all the U.S.-based AI startups that have raised $100 million or more thus far:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
February<\/p>\n
Simile, which builds AI to mimic human decisions,\u00a0raised a\u00a0$100 million Series A round<\/a>\u00a0led by Index Ventures. The round was announced on February 12\u00a0and\u00a0included Hanabi Capital, Bain Capital\u00a0Ventures,\u00a0and multiple angel investors.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Anthropic announced a\u00a0$30 billion\u00a0Series G funding round<\/a>\u00a0on February 12 that valued the AI research lab at\u00a0$380 billion. More than 30 investors participated\u00a0in the\u00a0round,\u00a0including Founders Fund, Coatue, and Nvidia, among many others.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Media-generation platform\u00a0Runway\u00a0raised a $315 million Series E round<\/a> that valued the company at $5.3 billion. This funding was led by General Atlantic and was announced on February 10. Nvidia,\u00a0Fidelity,\u00a0and Felicis also invested, among others.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Goodfire, an AI research lab, announced a\u00a0$150 million Series B round<\/a> on February 5. B Capital led the round with participation from Juniper Ventures, Lightspeed Venture\u00a0Partners,\u00a0and\u00a0Menlo Ventures. The round valued the company at\u00a0$1.25\u00a0billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n AI research company\u00a0Fundamental\u00a0announced a\u00a0$255 million Series A round<\/a>\u00a0on February 5. This\u00a0round valued the company at\u00a0$1.4 billion. Investors\u00a0in the round included Oak HC\/FT, Salesforce Ventures, Valor Equity\u00a0Partners,\u00a0and QP Ventures, among others.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Voice AI company\u00a0ElevenLabs\u00a0raised a\u00a0$500 million Series D round<\/a>\u00a0that was announced on February 4. The round was led by Sequoia and valued the company at\u00a0$11 billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n January<\/p>\n PaleBlueDot\u00a0AI, a\u00a0compute\u00a0platform, raised a\u00a0$150 million Series B round<\/a>\u00a0that valued\u00a0the startup\u00a0at\u00a0$1 billion. The round was announced on January 28 and was led by B Capital.\u00a0<\/p>\n Conversational AI platform\u00a0Decagon\u00a0announced a\u00a0$250 million Series D round<\/a>\u00a0on January 28. The round was co-led by Coatue and Index Ventures and valued the company at\u00a0$4.5\u00a0billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n AI research lab\u00a0Flapping Airplanes\u00a0raised\u00a0a\u00a0$180 million seed round<\/a>\u00a0that was led by Google Ventures, Sequoia,\u00a0and Index Ventures. The round was announced\u00a0on January 28 and valued the company at\u00a0$1.5 billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Baseten\u00a0raised a\u00a0$300 million Series E round<\/a>\u00a0that valued the AI\u00a0infrastructure\u00a0startup at\u00a0$5 billion. The round was\u00a0led by IVP and\u00a0CapitalG\u00a0and was announced on January 23.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Inferact,\u00a0an AI inference startup, raised a\u00a0$150 million seed round<\/a>\u00a0mere months after its founding. The round was announced on January 22 and\u00a0garnered\u00a0the\u00a0company\u00a0an $800 million valuation.\u00a0The round was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Lightspeed Venture Partners.\u00a0<\/p>\n Cambridge, Massachusetts-based\u00a0OpenEvidence\u00a0raised a\u00a0$250 million Series D round<\/a>\u00a0for its medical AI chatbot. The round was co-led by Thrive Global and DST Global and was announced on January 21. This round valued\u00a0OpenEvidence\u00a0at\u00a0$12 billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n AI research lab\u00a0humans&\u00a0raised a monster\u00a0$480 million seed round<\/a>\u00a0that was announced on January 20. Investors in the round include\u00a0Nvidia, Jeff Bezos, and GV, among others. This round valued the young startup at\u00a0$4.48 billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n SkildAI, which builds AI models to power robots, raised a\u00a0$1.4 billion\u00a0Series C round<\/a>\u00a0that valued\u00a0the startup\u00a0at\u00a0$14 billion. The\u00a0round was announced on January 14 and was led by SoftBank and Nvidia.\u00a0<\/p>\n Voice AI platform\u00a0Deepgram\u00a0raised a\u00a0$130\u00a0million Series C round<\/a>\u00a0led\u00a0by AVP, with participation from Tiger Global,\u00a0ServiceNow\u00a0Ventures, and Madrona, among others. The round was announced on January\u00a013\u00a0and valued the company at\u00a0$1.3\u00a0billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Arena, a large language model evaluation platform, raised a\u00a0$150 million Series A round<\/a>\u00a0that was co-led by Felicis and UC Investments. The AI research lab announced a\u00a0$20 billion\u00a0Series E round<\/a>\u00a0on January 6. Valor Equity Partners,\u00a0Fidelity,\u00a0and the Qatar Investment Authority\u00a0participated\u00a0in\u00a0the round, among others.
