TUCSON, Ariz. (TNND) \u2014 The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said the unknown male DNA found on a glove near Nancy Guthrie<\/a>‘s house was entered into the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) DNA database — but did not result in any matches.<\/p>\n

The department shared the update on Tuesday, which marked more than two weeks since Nancy Guthrie was last seen.<\/p>\n

“DNA evidence from gloves found approximately 2 miles from Nancy Guthrie’s residence was submitted to CODIS & produced no matches. There is additional DNA evidence that was found at the residence that is also being analyzed,” the department wrote on X<\/a>.”The DNA that was submitted to CODIS was from the set of gloves found 2 miles away. It did not trigger a match in CODIS & did not match DNA found at the property. The DNA found at the property is being analyzed & further testing needs to be done as part of the investigation,” the department noted in a separate post<\/a>, which was also shared on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

A day prior, the sheriff announced that all members of Nancy Guthrie’s family were cleared as suspects<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“To be clear…the Guthrie family — to include all siblings as spouses — has been cleared as possible suspects in this case. The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case,” Nanos previously wrote on X.<\/p>\n

The search continues for Nancy Guthrie, who is the mother of “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie. <\/p>\n

“It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken. And I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope. And we still believe,” Savannah Guthrie said in a video<\/a> she posted on social media. <\/p>\n

“And I wanted to say to whoever has her or knows where she is that it’s never too late,” she added. <\/p>\n

On Monday, TMZ claimed it received a fourth email<\/a> from a man who claims to know who was behind the abduction of Nancy Guthrie and where she currently is.<\/p>\n

Last week, investigators released surveillance video showing an armed, masked suspect<\/a> at Nancy Guthrie\u2019s front door the night she was abducted. The FBI later described the suspect as a male <\/a>who is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with an average build.<\/p>\n

“We hope this updated description will help concentrate the public tips we are receiving,” FBI Phoenix said.<\/p>\n

They also shared images of an Ozark Trail Hiker Pack<\/a>, which investigators said is a style of backpack the suspect was seen wearing in surveillance footage.<\/p>\n

FBI Phoenix said the FBI is increasing its reward from $50,000 to $100,000 for information that leads to Nancy Guthrie and\/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.<\/p>\n

The FBI urged anyone who has information about the case to call the agency at 1-800-CALL-FBI, as well as the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department at 520-351-4900.<\/p>\n
