Not only is he a building block for Ineos<\/a>, but he\u2019s also one of the players who was openly sad at Ruben Amorim\u2019s sacking, as he formed a close bond with him.<\/p>\n

For Carrick to come in and immediately get Amad back on his side says a lot about his man-management, and the Ivorian winger has improved as a result. <\/p>\n

Speaking on Man Utd\u2019s Inside Carrington <\/a>podcast, Amad praised Carrick, giving Ineos a blueprint for the ideal manager in the process. <\/p>\n

He said: \u201cHaving Michael Carrick as a manager in the team is very important because he knows the club. He\u2019s the main man, telling us [the importance] of the club we\u2019re playing for. <\/p>\n

\u201cI remember, before games, he tells us that you guys are playing for yourself, but also for the fans, so we want to win and give something back to them. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe training [under Carrick] is also very enjoyable.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not a coincidence that Amad repeats the line said by Bruno Fernandes, and more, that being someone who \u201cknows the club\u201d is so important to be a Man Utd manager. <\/p>\n

Some clubs are special like that, so unique in their pressures and dynamics that simply getting a big name or a tactical mastermind won\u2019t do any good.<\/p>\n
