The Canadian businessman is a keen supporter of Donald Trump. Andrew Harnik\/Getty Images <\/p>\nCNN\u2019s Abby Phillip cut one of her MAGA-friendly guests down to size on Tuesday night after an outburst during their panel discussion.<\/p>\n
Following a heated conversation on Tuesday night\u2019s episode of NewsNight with Abby Phillip, which featured clashes between panellists on the subject of ICE\u2019s tactics in Minneapolis, Phillip asked Canadian businessman Kevin O\u2019Leary if he had a quick last word before they ended the show.<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, wow. My last word is: You\u2019re all nuts,\u201d the former Shark Tank star said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe gotta keep it together here. There\u2019s a way to talk about these things. If you don\u2019t have anything to say, just say that and I won\u2019t come to you next time,\u201d Phillip fired back.<\/p>\n
As O\u2019Leary continued to argue with CNN\u2019s Ana Navarro while Phillip attempted to throw to the ad break, the host interrupted herself in order to tell him to stop talking.<\/p>\n
\u201cExcuse me, excuse me… stop, Kevin, stop,\u201d Phillip said, as O\u2019Leary finally quieted down.<\/p>\n
O\u2019Leary, who recently starred<\/a> opposite Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet as an immoral business mogul in Marty Supreme, is a frequent guest on Newsnight, often defending the Trump administration and clashing with other guests.<\/p>\n Last year, a fellow panelist yelled at O\u2019Leary after he touched her<\/a> during a debate. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to touch me!\u201d Angela Rye exclaimed, prompting O\u2019Leary to respond that he \u201cdid that nicely.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want you to touch me,\u201d Rye fired back, to which O\u2019Leary said, \u201cI won\u2019t ever do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n He has become known for bizarre tirades, including one in which he branded<\/a> The Late Show host Stephen Colbert \u201cdumb\u201d and \u201ca moron\u201d and argued that he was responsible for his own show\u2019s cancellation.<\/p>\n \u201cOnly a moron would tell the president to f-off before he gets his check,\u201d O\u2019Leary said about Colbert\u2019s monologue in which he told President Donald Trump to, \u201cGo f— yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n During another appearance on Newsnight, O\u2019Leary ruffled feathers by suggesting<\/a> that victims of convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein just want to \u201cget on\u201d with their lives.<\/p>\n \u201cIf any of you cared about the victims, you wouldn\u2019t drag these women who are in childbearing years now, some of them now having children, back into the limelight, back into the same story, to expose them again to this hideous outcome,\u201d O\u2019Leary argued last July. \u201cThese guys, they don\u2019t want you to help them anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n When asked if his assessment was based on conversations with Epstein\u2019s victims, many of whom have repeatedly visited Capitol Hill in an attempt to seek justice, O\u2019Leary admitted that he had not spoken to any.<\/p>\n O\u2019Leary has often been slammed by his fellow Canadians<\/a> over his support for Donald Trump, particularly the president\u2019s interest in somehow annexing Canada, a move which O\u2019Leary has claimed\u2014without evidence\u2014has significant support among his compatriots.<\/p>\n Most recently, he found himself the target<\/a> of actor Mark Ruffalo\u2019s ire after O\u2019Leary told Gen-Z superstar Billie Eilish to \u201cshut your mouth\u201c and \u201centertain\u201d rather than speak about politics.<\/p>\n![\"Kevin](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/IN72NHCL3ZGDZHE3Q3PDFWCMM4.jpg\")
