The famous sexual burlesque acts at the Lower East Side club \u2014 which can skew toward the scatological<\/a> \u2014 refused to go onstage on Friday night because accused rapist and human trafficker Andrew Tate was in the audience, says a source.<\/p>\n The Tate brothers turned up at the Box in the Lower East Side on Friday. Getty Images<\/p>\n As Page Six previously reported<\/a>, the manosphere celeb showed up with his brother Tristan Tate to a Fashion Week bash at the club held by promoters Matteo Garzia and Alessandro Brioschi.<\/p>\n Now we hear that when the staff \u2014 who put on the venue\u2019s infamous sexually supercharged show known for its simulated stunts involving (we dearly hope) fake pee and poop \u2014 heard about the guests, the s\u200a-\u200a-\u200at hit the fan.<\/p>\n \u201cStaff members and performers were shocked that a guardian of the Box\u2019s notoriously tough-to-get-into velvet rope would allow in such a repulsive figure,\u201d said an insider. <\/p>\n We hear performers at the club, known for its sexual stage shows, refused to go on. WireImage<\/p>\n The brothers have been accused of rape and human trafficking, which they deny. Getty Images<\/p>\n They added, \u201cA Box night has two big shows then a smaller late-night act. It was the second show of the night that did not happen once performers and staff realized Tate was there.\u201d<\/p>\n A lawyer for Tate told Page Six that these claims were \u201centirely false.\u201d <\/p>\n As we always say: When the poop act thinks you\u2019re distasteful, it may be time to reflect on your life choices.<\/p>\n The party wasn\u2019t seemingly attached to a particular fashion show or designer, but we hear it was more of a general celebration of the week-long happening in the city.<\/p>\n We\u2019re told staff at the Box was \u201cshocked\u201d the Tates were let in to the venue.
