While we\u2019ve seen him here and there \u2013 such as in the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC \u2013 the last big new game was Rayman Legends, which released over a decade ago. However, it looks like the franchise is starting to return to the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>Just recently, we saw Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch. Guillemot said in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/gaming\/news\/ubisoft-ceo-interview-yves-guillemot-layoffs-creative-house-1236667500\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Variety<\/a> that it\u2019s \u201cthe first step in the brand\u2019s comeback\u201d. Additionally, Ubisoft is \u201clooking forward to talking more about Rayman soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guillemot said in the interview:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRayman is a landmark franchise for Ubisoft and holds a special place in my heart because it played such a key role in Ubisoft\u2019s early evolution. We\u2019re proud to celebrate its anniversary with the release of Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, which pays tribute to the legacy of the original 1995 platforming classic. It\u2019s the first step in the brand\u2019s comeback, and it is inspiring to see players continue to embrace Rayman\u2019s unique charm and enduring appeal.<\/p>\n<p>As for what\u2019s next for Rayman, we\u2019re always exploring how our iconic franchises can evolve and reinvent themselves for all generations of players.
