Armstrong World Industries Inc. has acquired Eventscape Inc., an architectural design and fabrication firm, for an undisclosed price.<\/p>\n

Eventscape, which has offices in Toronto and New York, uses wood, metal, glass and other materials to create sculptural architectural features. The company employs 150 people and generated $30 million in revenue in 2025.<\/p>\n

In an Armstrong press release announcing the acquisition, Mark Hershey, the ceiling and wall maker\u2019s vice president and chief operating officer, said the move aims to deepen collaboration with designers during early-stage commercial projects.<\/p>\n

“Armstrong is now uniquely positioned to help our customers achieve any design ambition,” said Hershey, who is scheduled to become CEO in April.<\/a><\/p>\n

Eventscape has completed projects at JPMorgan Chase\u2019s recently opened global headquarters in New York and at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center. At the Cleveland Cavaliers\u2019 Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena, Eventscape created an 80-foot-tall, brushed aluminum curtain wall in the lobby that\u2019s made of 4,000 light-up panels.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether, we are creating a powerful platform for growth and industry leadership, translating bold architectural intent into precise, buildable reality,” Gareth Brennan, Eventscape founder and president, said in Armstrong\u2019s press release.<\/p>\n

Founded in Pittsburgh in 1860, Armstrong opened a Lancaster factory in 1909 and moved its headquarters here in 1929. The company has approximately 3,800 employees worldwide, including about 950 in Lancaster County. Its headquarters is in Manor Township, and it operates a ceiling plant near Marietta.<\/p>\n
